My Why
Throughout my career, I noticed something profound — the more I truly listened, the more people opened up, sometimes sharing things they hadn’t even told their closest loved ones. It became clear that everyone carries their own journey, their own struggles, and that feeling heard is the foundation for growth.
I realised that to bring out the best in people, they first needed to feel safe - safe to express themselves, safe to be vulnerable, and safe to understand the subconscious forces driving their actions and emotions.
This realisation led me here.
Psychological Safety isn’t just a concept — it’s the key to a thriving workplace. Organisations that embed it into their culture don’t just function better; they innovate, collaborate, and succeed in ways that feel natural, sustainable, and deeply human.
I help businesses create these environments — where trust fuels productivity, and where people can bring their best selves to work every day.

What is it that your team needs the most from you?
Is it authenticity; trust; empathy; leadership; a healthy work environment? It is all of the above, and the proven way to get the greatest results from your teams and for your organisation is by implementing a psychologically safe environment.
It fosters innovation, collaboration, peak productivity and performance. Still not sure? Check out the results from Googles Project Aristotle. This is what I bring to your organisation, dm me to find out how.
As with any training programs, investing in a half-day course alone will not get you the results you are looking for long term.
Regular measure and testing as well as individual check-ins are vital for the ongoing success of your initial investment.
This week I share with you one example of when left alone, psychologically safety can slowly dwindle.
So the first question you could be regularly asking your team with regards to the organisations commitment to meeting their psychologically safe expectations:
If you make a mistake on this team, it is often held against you (whether team members feel they can make mistakes without being judged or punished).

Your brain interprets blame the same way it interprets a physical attack. Blame triggers our fight or flight response which effectively shuts down our problem-solving part of our brain. In cultures of blame, people hide problems. Or point their finger at someone else. No one is going to take accountability if they think that they are going to be blamed for doing so. Blame destroys teamwork, problem solving, learning and initiative. In other words, Blame Kills Accountability. So what should we do instead?
Engineer the solution. Environment and processes influence behaviour. Instead of asking ‘whose fault is this?’, ask where did the process break down?
Having a psychologically safe culture ingrained in your organisation allows for collaboration, innovation and employees who are invested in their work.
The most recent reports are unsurprising, but very uplifting nonetheless!
The question I get asked the most is, how can you measure the value (both dollar and people) that an organisation can benefit by having psychological safety.
Since Amy Edmondson started her research to Google with it’s ‘Project Aristotle’, the results don’t vary by much.
The most recent findings for this year (https://gitnux.org/psychological-safety-statistics/) report the very reasons why any organisation faces losing great employees, reporting too many sick days, workplace conflict and unpredictable turnover (both dollar and people).
And the remedy is not rocket science, but it does take a willingness to education and training.
What would it look like for your organisation if it gained 21% increase in productivity?
What would you do?
You’ve been invited to speak at a conference and you notice one of the members of the audience does not seem to like what you have to say.
So I asked him outright what his views were on the topic of discussion.
I did not see his response coming. But it turned out to be such a blessing in disguise.
